SUSANNA’S SECRET and STANAC in Klovićevi dvori Gallery’s atrium

The witty and musically impressive one-act opera Susanna’s secret, performed by CNT Zagreb Opera, will premier on Friday, July 5 at 9 p.m. in the atrium of the Klovićevi dvori Gallery. It will be conducted by maestro Ivo Lipanović and directed by Saša Broz.

The one-act opera Stanac is based on the 16th century comedy (cro.) “Novela od Stanca” by Marin Držić. The opera was composed in the late 1950s by one of the greatest domestic opera composers, Jakov Gotovac, in collaboration with librettist Vojmil Rabadan. The opera was premiered in 1959 at Zagreb’s Croatian National Theater.

The one-act plays Susanna’s secret and Stanac will perform in the Klovićevi dvori Gallery’s atrium, one after the other, on July 6, 8 and 9 from 9 p.m.
