The exhibition World of robots, the first of its kind, opens in Klovićevi dvori Gallery on the 15th of September 2022, and will last for three months, until the 30th of December 2022.
The exhibition displays the newest developments in humanoid robotics, expensive robotic toys, transformers, a remote-control football, loading robots, drawing robot hands, 3D printers, and original movie props like Iron Man, R2D2, the Terminator, C3PO, etc. You will see robotic animals and extraordinary innovations related to digital culture, even the concept of a Mars rover, and many other robotics achievements. On the time-wall, we display how robots have evolved and what makes a robot better than a human. Industrial robotics is represented by FANUC’s robotic arms, and the children’s favorite will undoubtedly be KOKO, a robotic dog with impressive knowledge and capable of incredible stunts.
All are in agreement that there is a great need for robots in the industry: they facilitate production processes and play a big part in technological achievement, such as disinfecting rooms and disarming bombs, but, do we want a robot in a restaurant? Do we want a robot that tells us when our plane is taking off? Would we be happy with robotic assistance in an elevator? Will robots be a part of our everyday lives in just a few years? The fantastic World of Robots exhibition offers answers to these and many other questions.
